CanSkate
· Skaters are to use assigned dressing rooms for putting on their skates and helmets. These rooms are left unlocked so please do not leave anything valuable there unattended.
· Please dress your child in light layers as they will warm up on the ice. There may be times that CanSkate is located in the Rotary Arena, which is much colder than the Credit Union Place Arena.
· Each skater must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet. See the above link for more information.
· Please have your child ready to go on the ice a few minutes early.
· Credit Union Place Entrance: Skaters will get onto the ice at the Zamboni entrance. Please help your skater sign the attendance sheet, and is wearing their name tag (which can be found on the table beside the ice doors). *If you are arriving late, please help your skater get onto the ice at the penalty box / timekeepers box, at centre ice (dressing room #2 and #3 side of the rink).
· Exiting: Skaters will exit the ice from the same Zamboni doors they entered. If, for some reason, your skater needs to leave the ice surface during the session, they are to use the penalty box / timekeepers box entrance.
Keep an eye on you skater during the session so you are aware if they need to come off the ice.
Intro to CanSkate

· Please have your child ready to go on the ice a few minutes early.
· Credit Union Place Entrance: Skaters will get onto the ice at the Zamboni entrance. Please help your skater sign the attendance sheet, and is wearing their name tag (which can be found on the table beside the ice doors).
· Exiting: Skaters will exit the ice from the same Zamboni doors they entered. If, for some reason, your skater needs to leave the ice surgace during the session, they are to use the penalty / time keepers box enrance.
CanSkate Next Level
· Skaters are to use Dressing Room #7 for putting on their skates. This room is normally left unlocked so please do not leave anything valuable there unattended.
· Skaters are to be dressed in light layers as they will warm up on the ice. There may be times that Next Level is located in the Rotary Arena, which is much colder than the Credit Union Place Arena.
· Helmets are optional at this stage. It is up to the discretion of parent and coach as to whether the skater needs to wear a CSA approved hockey helmet.
· Please be ready to go on the ice a few minutes early.
· Entrance to the ice will be from the players bench directly outside dressing room #7.
